My guest today is world traveled freelance writer Jennifer Bradley Franklin. Jennifer began her career in restaurant marketing even though she had a degree in journalism and broadcasting. She remembers it was a good job, but her heart has always been in writing. So she began freelance writing on the side.
Jennifer has worked for tons of high profile publications including Delta Sky, Southern Seasons, American Way, and The Atlantan. Her wheelhouse is obviously travel writing, but she has been approached for larger projects like Make it Zero: The Movement to Safeguard Every Child. The book is about the dark topic of human trafficking. Jennifer shares with me how these kind of opportunities happen for her . She offers some advice for up and coming freelance writers and gives some insight into her daily process.
